   This explains so much. Like how we came to be treated with such intellectual stimulation in shows like Australian Idol. (Couldn’t resist).

   Make a youtube account and favorite them.

   Note to self: avoid career in TV.

   The second one in particular is interesting. I do wonder sometimes how much of what we perceive a reality show contestant to be like is actually a fiction created by the editors. Must be hard to watch all your worst moments strung together and defining you to a nation of viewers. Kind of reminds me of that episode of friends where Joey falsely claims in an interview to have contributed to the writing of the soap opera he’s on, and then finds himself written out in a messay death scene. If you pissed off the producer of a reality TV show you’d be edited to hell.
