Thanks for the tips G however after turning up the last two years I figure I shall give this year a miss and stick to my roots of belting out ballads and performing in musical theatre. (If i can find another company to join in Brissie)lol You never know though, I might just pop in to say hi and let you know that someone is reading this hehe.

Ahh, Australian Idol, the show where at 8:30 on a Monday night you switch to channel 10 to find some blonde guy and his dark haired side kick torturing the Australian public with phrases like “The public has voted and………………”

It may be called ‘building suspense, anticipation or excitement’ in a production meeting but we all know you are torturing us and you love it.

heya G-man!!
I auditioned last year to Lindsay Field and another producer and I was confident and all that you said and when I saw him (I know how talented he is vocally and have seen him perform with John Farnham heaps of times)I went to mush and was so nervous I started the song in the wrong key and stuffed it up.
I’m too old to audition this year,so you won’t see me (unless I just pop out to see you!)
So I hope you have fun and the mornings aren’t too cold for you.

It should be interesting to see who gets in again this year. It was pretty varied last year. I think it is always sad that people who think they can sing find out they actually can’t. We don’t have that problem in our family, we are all pretty honest. I hope people find some differant songs to sing! My favourite is still Guy he was and is just special.

I wouldn’t dare wish it upon anyone to hear me sing…it’s not that I cant sing…I was in a choir for seven years…but now I have no what so ever for things like that, so my voice turns into that of squeaky fourteen year old boy’s thnik Scod from Tripod (swoon) in ‘geek eye for the jock guy’ “it’s all to do with the epigilotis”…

anyways let’s hope for some good watching this year, eh?

How about #1 – be able to sing on key.

Because i live music, i need it like a need oxygen. I could sing ‘Whats going on’ or ‘imagine’ with as much passion as can be put into a song. But it still wouldnt sound good. It would sound shithouse, no matter of how well i know it, how much i love it or how much passion i convey.

I will definately be watching idol G…to me noone has been as good as GUY Sebastian yet…
HE jsut has it all…the passion…the modesty…the kindness…the tolerence..the humour…lol
