So I’m off for two weeks. Before I leave, a few words about new guitars, bleeding for the doctor and naughty office sex…

Hello all and humblest thanks for reading this..It’s been quite a week that involved grand prix, Ballarat and getting my house back to myself again..the couch surfers have left and now my place is hotel nude. woo!!

The guys that were at my house were tops, and If you’re ever staying at someone’s house for a length of time (more than a weekend) there’s a few things that you need to do so as not to burn your mate whose couch you’re surfing on..

DO the dishes. Everytime. Just do them. DO cook dinner at least once a week. DO clean up your bed clothes and put things back in your bag every morning, do it early and then try and make yourself scarce. DO pay for all phone calls etc. DO respect every bit of their property DO give your hosts a definite leaving date DO get yourself out of the place as often as possible DO warn your hosts if your plans change, you don’t want to bust them playing nude twister in the living room – give your hosts the space that they pay rent for! DO all of these things without being asked.

DON’T invite friends around. DON’T bring anyone in the place when your hosts aren’t there. DON’T hang out in the living room all day DON’T hog the remote DON’T go through their stuff DON’T use the bathroom when your hosts are trying to get out of the house for work or whatever DON’T borrow clothes DON’T leave CDs out of their cases DON’T invade personal space DON’T come home all pissed and noisy late at night DON’T try and win on to anyone who lives in the house DON’T forget to say thanks at every opportunity and buy a gift for them when you leave.
